A wedding is a ceremony where two people pledge their love for one another in a service that is recognized by law and united in marriage. Exchanging vows and the presentation of rings are an important part of a wedding ceremony.

 

Religious Wedding

A traditional wedding at the church is by far the most popular way to getting married. Wedding traditions can get very complicated when the couples are of different race, religion and cultures. However, many churches now offer inter-faith couples marry should you have different religions. Depending on the church you choose, it may be possible to have two officiates to marry you.

 

Civil Wedding

A civil wedding ceremony contains no religious elements and can take place at a register office or in any premises licensed to hold weddings under the Marriage Act.

 

Military Wedding

A military wedding often takes place in the military chapel with the bride and/or groom wearing formal uniforms. You may be entitled to a full military wedding ceremony if either the bride or groom has served in the military.

 

Destination Wedding

Many couples are now opting for destination weddings to have their wedding and honeymoon in the same place. Destination weddings can take place anywhere from an exotic beachfront at the Caribbean’s to a colorful wedding at Las Vegas.

 

A wedding ceremony plays an important role in the marriage process. There are so many different types of ceremonies a couple can choose from today and one of them will fit your style and budget.
